Plain-language change summary

The recent amendment to Senate File 2467 updates the annual reimbursement amount allocated to the Attorney General for managing the Second Injury Fund for workers' compensation, raising it from $459,000 to $900,000. This change is significant because it ensures the Attorney General has adequate funding to effectively support the administration of the fund, which aids workers who experience additional injuries after initially being compensated for a work-related injury. In essence, this adjustment could lead to better legal representation and more efficient handling of cases related to workers' rights and compensation.
