Plain-language change summary

The bill was updated to clarify that public schools must accept cash (legal tender) as a form of payment for entry into extracurricular athletic events. However, it also states that this requirement does not apply to events held at non-member private schools or certain independent venues. This change is important because it ensures that students and families can pay for entry using cash, making it more accessible for everyone, while also providing exceptions for specific types of competitions.
