Plain-language change summary

The changes made to Senate File 469 focus on the creation of an emeritus license for practicing medicine and surgery. The updated version clarifies that this license is intended for physicians who are at least 60 years old and primarily engaged in supervising and training new doctors. This matters because it supports mentorship in the medical field, allowing experienced physicians to continue contributing to healthcare without the full responsibilities of active practice.
