What changed in the latest version
346 added · 367 removedPlain-language change summary
The updated version of House File 470 includes specific language clarifying how licensing fees for alcohol-related businesses will be determined based on their location. It now specifies that fees for premises outside city limits will be based on the charges for similar-sized spaces in the closest incorporated city, using postal addresses for accurate measurement. This change is important because it helps standardize fee assessments, ensuring consistency and fairness for businesses regardless of their location.
