Plain-language change summary

In the updated version of House File 440, a requirement for the board to notify student government organizations at least thirty days prior to any proposed tuition increases remains, but some specific details about the decision-making process were removed. Specifically, it clarifies that final decisions on tuition increases will be made during regular meetings but does not specify the locations of these meetings or restrictions concerning university breaks. This change streamlines the process and ensures that student representatives still receive timely information about financial changes that affect them, which is important for transparency and student involvement in university governance.
