Plain-language change summary

The latest version of House File 330 now specifies that changes regarding insurance coverage for autism treatment will take effect for certain plans starting January 1, 2026. This amendment clarifies which insurance policies, specifically those for state employees and other public employees, will be impacted by the coverage mandates. This is important because it sets a clear timeline for when families affected by autism spectrum disorder can expect improved access to necessary treatments.
