The updated version of Senate File 369 includes provisions for developing and distributing a civics test to schools in Iowa. This test will be based on the latest civics quiz from U.S. citizenship services and will be updated after each presidential election. Additionally, a study will analyze how passing this test correlates with high school graduation rates, with findings due to be reported by June 30, 2029. These changes aim to enhance civic education in schools and examine its impact on students' educational outcomes.
