What changed in the latest version
17 added · 19 removedPlain-language change summary
The updated version of SB 634 now includes a new section that requires municipalities to keep a public list of contracts worth $5 million or more for public infrastructure projects. This list must be accessible for public viewing on the municipality's website, ensuring transparency in how public funds are allocated. This change is particularly important because it sets clear standards that also limit how home rule municipalities manage these contracts, promoting accountability in local government spending.
