What changed in the latest version
18 added · 34 removedPlain-language change summary
The new version of SB 314 includes specific requirements for physical fitness centers offering lifetime memberships. It mandates that these centers must clearly inform customers about any changes to payment obligations or benefits at least 60 days before a contract renewal. Additionally, customers can request a copy of their contract. These changes are important because they aim to protect consumers from unexpected costs and ensure they have access to important contract details.
