What changed in the latest version
86 added · 25 removedPlain-language change summary
The latest version of Bill HB 165 introduces a new program aimed at collecting and analyzing criminal justice data for defendants aged 18 and older in Pennsylvania. This amendment establishes a Unified Criminal Justice Data Collection Program which involves collaboration among various criminal justice entities in the state, such as the Pennsylvania State Police and county prosecutors. This change is significant because it seeks to improve the understanding of criminal behavior and outcomes, potentially leading to more informed policies and practices within the justice system. The previous version of the bill, which addressed medical procedures related to abortion, has been removed entirely.
