What changed in the latest version

The latest version of Bill HB 3163 has added protections for health care professionals who provide abortion-related care by allowing them to request confidentiality of their personal information. This means that any government agency, business, or organization must refrain from disclosing their personal details publicly upon request. These changes aim to enhance the safety and privacy of health care providers, acknowledging the potential threats they may face in their line of work. This is especially important in light of increasing concerns about harassment and backlash in the current climate surrounding reproductive health issues.
