What changed in the latest version
6 added · 20 removedPlain-language change summary
The latest version of SB 3229 removes all references to the Environmental Laboratory Certification Committee and repeals provisions related to it. This change simplifies the regulatory framework around environmental laboratory certification in Illinois. It matters because it could streamline processes for labs, potentially reducing bureaucracy and making it easier for them to operate, but it may also raise concerns about the oversight of laboratory standards.
