Plain-language change summary

The recent changes to HB 4722 clarify who can deposit a will with the clerk. Now, it specifies that only a resident of the county where the will is being deposited or someone authorized by a court can do so. This is important because it helps ensure that wills are stored securely and only by individuals with the appropriate legal authority. Additionally, it has established a clearer definition of terms like "sealed envelope" and "testator," promoting better understanding and consistency in handling these sensitive documents.
