Plain-language change summary

The updated version of SB 2773 introduces a provision that allows individuals who are at least 18 years old to receive an Educator License with Stipulations for teaching prekindergarten through 8th grade until they turn 19. This license can be granted to those who meet certain educational requirements, such as holding a high school diploma and passing a competency test. This change is significant because it opens up opportunities for young adults to begin their teaching careers earlier, thereby addressing potential staffing shortages in early education.
