What changed in the latest version
82 added · 76 removedPlain-language change summary
The updated version of Bill HB 3572 includes a modification in the language regarding the report on treatment needs for defendants. The phrase "shall" has been changed to "may," giving more flexibility in what the report can include. Additionally, the timeline for the Task Force to hold its first meeting has been established as no later than October 1, 2025. These changes matter because they may impact how treatment recommendations are made and the urgency of the Task Force's work.
