The recent changes to PR 26-0153 update the language to clarify that condominium and cooperative associations can conduct virtual meetings and detail the voting processes during these meetings. The key shift is the inclusion of a reference to a permanent law passed previously that establishes these virtual meeting provisions, aiming for a smoother transition to these practices. This change is significant as it solidifies the ability for associations to adapt to modern communication methods, which have been essential since the COVID-19 pandemic. Overall, it ensures that residents can continue to participate in meetings conveniently and effectively.
