93 added · 89 removedPlain-language change summary
The updated bill now designates the Washington Convention and Sports Authority, rather than Events DC, as responsible for promoting the District's status as the Official Sports Capital of the United States. This change is significant because it shifts the focus to a different organization, potentially affecting how plans and strategies are implemented to enhance the city's reputation for sports. The language has also been slightly changed for clarity, but the overall intent remains the same: to bolster the District’s image as a prime destination for sports.
