Plain-language change summary

The bill has been updated to clarify that the emergency legislation is specifically aimed at protecting participants in the Family Re-Housing Stabilization Program from being removed without securing permanent housing. This change matters because it ensures continued support for families facing potential loss of assistance, allowing them to remain in the program as long as funding is available and their situations warrant it. By keeping these protections in place, the Council aims to provide stability and security for vulnerable families during a critical time.
