Plain-language change summary

The recent amendments to the Condominium Act of 1976 now allow condominium unit owners’ associations, cooperatives, and limited equity cooperatives to hold virtual meetings using phone or video technology. This change clarifies the rules for voting and quorum during these meetings. It matters because it enables more flexibility and participation for residents, especially in situations where in-person gatherings are challenging.
