What changed in the latest version
28 added · 66 removedPlain-language change summary
The latest version of the bill has shifted the focus from a contract for the Villager Apartments to a new contract for the Ontario Apartments, specifically with Hamel Builders Inc. This change also reduces the total value of the contract from approximately $3.8 million to about $2.9 million and shortens the time frame for the completion of the work from 542 days to 465 days. These updates matter because they direct funding and resources to a different public housing property, which could help provide improved living conditions more quickly for residents in need.
