Plain-language change summary

The amendment to SB 141 introduces a definition for "spirits auction," which was not previously included. Additionally, it modifies the regulation regarding the number of auctions by stating that no more than 12 wine and 12 spirits auctions may be conducted within a calendar year, while also allowing for a maximum of 3 days per auction event and permitting both in-person and online formats. This change aligns Delaware law with other states by removing the distinction between auction formats, which could provide greater flexibility for auction entities.
