Plain-language change summary

The recent amendment to House Bill 1232 adds a note stating that the bill has been prepared for the necessary signatures from legislative officers and the Governor. This change is important because it clarifies the next steps in the legislative process, ensuring transparency about whether the bill has been signed into law. The bill itself aims to prevent certain monetary fees from being imposed on juveniles in the justice system, building on previous legislation that sought to eliminate such financial burdens.
