SECTION 1.
CONCERNING CERTAIN DISCLOSURES OF POLICIES THAT A CHILD CARE CENTER MUST PROVIDE TO THE CAREGIVERS OF CHILDREN BEING SERVED AT THE CHILD CARE CENTER .
In Colorado Revised Statutes, 26.5-5-31add (7) as follows:
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Colorado:
SECTION1.
InColoradoRevisedStatutes,26.5-5-314,add(7)as follows:
(7) A CHILD CARE CENTER SHALL DISCLOSE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IN THE CHILD CARE CENTER 'S POLICIES AND PROCEDURES TO THE PARENTS OR GUARDIANS OF CHILDREN BEING SERVED AT THE CHILD CARE CENTER :
(7) A CHILD CARE CENTER SHALL DISCLOSE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IN THE CHILD CARE CENTER'S POLICIES AND PROCEDURES TO THE PARENTS OR GUARDIANS OF CHILDREN BEING SERVED AT THE CHILD CARE CENTER:

on the day following the expiration of the ninety-dayperiod after final adjournment of the general assembly(August 12, 2026, if adjournment sine die is on May 13, 2026);

except that, if a referendumpetitionisfiledpursuanttosection1(3)ofarticleVofthestate constitution against this act or an item, section, or part of this act within such period, then the act, item, section, or part will not take effect unless PAGE 2-SENATE BILL 26-050 approvedbythepeopleatthegeneralelectiontobeheldinNovember2026 and, in such case, will take effect on the date of the official declaration of the vote thereon by the governor.
