Plain-language change summary

The updated version of Senate Bill 60 now includes a requirement for youth sports coaches to undergo mental health training, focusing on recognizing and addressing mental health issues that may arise in young athletes. Additionally, the bill mandates that coaches must inform parents about potential mental health risks associated with concussions. This change is significant because it aims to better support the mental well-being of young athletes and ensure that parents are aware of the risks, helping to create a safer environment in youth sports.
