Plain-language change summary

The recent amendments to Bill SB 53 introduce a note reminding readers to check the legislative status to see if the Governor has signed the bill. Additionally, it renames the program to the "Colorado Champions Home Loan Program" and clarifies the definitions related to the legislation by removing some outdated terms. These changes are important because they improve transparency regarding the bill's status and make the program's intent clearer, potentially increasing support for those seeking assistance with mortgages in Colorado.
