The recent amendment to SB 83 postpones the expiration of certain rules set by various state departments that were adopted or changed between November 1, 2024, and November 1, 2025. This extension means that these rules, originally scheduled to expire on May 15, 2026, will remain in effect for a longer period. This matters because it allows more time for these agencies to operate under the new rules and ensures that the regulations can be reviewed thoroughly without the pressure of an imminent expiration date.
NOTE:
This bill has been prepared for the signatures of the appropriate legislative officers and the Governor.
