Plain-language change summary

The amendments to House Bill 2084 primarily clarify definitions related to domestic water improvement districts. Specifically, the bill now more clearly outlines what constitutes "lighting plants" and "lots." These changes are important because they help ensure that all stakeholders, including homeowners and utility providers, have a clear understanding of the terms used in managing water districts, which can ultimately lead to better governance and resource allocation.
