Plain-language change summary

The latest version of House Bill 2202 has added a reference to "subsequent AMA; previously nonirrigated land." This change clarifies that the bill will include specific provisions about areas that were previously not used for irrigation but are now being addressed in the legislation. It matters because it ensures that these previously nonirrigated lands are considered in the context of future land management, which could affect farming and water resource policies in those areas.
