The updated version of HB 2576 clarifies that when an agency inspector, auditor, or regulator conducts an audit or inspection, they must provide specific information in writing to the regulated person. This now includes details about the individual’s rights, contact information for questions, and assurances that seeking legal representation won't result in penalties. These changes are important as they promote transparency and protect the rights of individuals facing audits or inspections, ensuring they understand the process and have access to support.
