The revised version of SB 1541 has added a section specifying that voters will receive a card in the mail, which will inform them about a 30-day time limit to confirm their choice to remain on the active early voting list. This change matters because it clarifies the process for voters, making it easier for them to understand how to maintain their voting status, thereby potentially increasing participation in elections.
