What changed in the latest version
63 added · 75 removedPlain-language change summary
The revised version of SB 1555 mainly removes the establishment of a Psilocybin Advisory Board and instead adds a section related to specific controlled substances, specifically including a new section about medications. This change is significant because it narrows the focus of the bill, emphasizing the regulation of controlled substances rather than creating a new advisory entity that would oversee the use of psilocybin. By streamlining the bill, lawmakers may be aiming for a more targeted approach to drug regulation while addressing immediate concerns regarding medication classification.
