Plain-language change summary

The changes to Senate Bill 1237 shift its focus from a technical correction regarding state agency accounts to a new policy about remote work for state employees. Specifically, the bill now prohibits full-time state employees from working remotely, with the exception for those who are sick or whose duties require site visits. This change is significant because it establishes a clear expectation that state employees must be present in the office, which could impact employee flexibility and morale.
