The updated version of HB 2384 includes new language related to fire insurance and wildfire risk modeling. Specifically, it adds detail on how fire insurance will be assessed based on the risk of wildfires, which is critical for ensuring homeowners are adequately protected. This change matters because it aims to improve insurance policies and make them more relevant to areas prone to wildfires, potentially leading to better coverage and lower risks for residents in those zones.
