Plain-language change summary

In the latest version of SB 1007, the time frame for the public school tax credit has been extended from June 30, 2024, to June 30, 2029. Additionally, specific provisions regarding community school meal programs, student health care supplies, and playground equipment are now numbered to clarify their importance. These changes matter because extending the tax credit allows for continued financial support to schools, which can enhance student well-being and educational facilities over the next several years.
