Plain-language change summary

The recent amendments to Senate Bill 281 removed topics related to genetic counseling, respiratory care, and telehealth, focusing instead on the rural health transformation program and the roles of various healthcare professionals including physician assistants and medical boards. This change streamlines the bill to concentrate on the advisory council for rural health, which is significant as it aims to improve healthcare access in rural areas. By refining the focus, the bill may better address specific needs in rural health care delivery and oversight.
