Plain-language change summary

The amended version of Senate Bill 1803 has added specific prohibitions against impersonating an individual or their representative when dealing with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. It now clearly outlines activities that are not permitted, such as contacting the department under false pretenses or submitting documents on behalf of individuals without their consent. These changes are important as they aim to protect veterans from fraud and ensure that only authorized and accredited representatives can act on their behalf when it comes to their benefits.
