Plain-language change summary

The amendment made to HB 2199 clarified the description of a nonprofit organization that can sponsor the bill, changing the wording from "whose sole or primary purposes include" to "whose sole or primary purpose is." This change underscores the organization's main focus on advocating for the rental mobile home parks industry. Additionally, some language around definitions, like the terms "good faith," "guest," and "landlord," has been refined for clarity, which helps ensure everyone understands the responsibilities and rights related to mobile home parks. These updates are important because they aim to create a clearer legal framework for those involved in mobile home rentals.
