The amendments to SB 154 primarily include updates to how the board conducts meetings and publishes its biennial reports. Meetings can now be held in-person or through teleconference, ensuring greater participation. Additionally, the report must be made available digitally and include important findings on service rates and levels, thereby enhancing transparency and accessibility of information for the public. These changes are significant because they aim to improve communication and accountability in health and social services.
