Plain-language change summary

The amendments to HB 2562 clarify that the bridge replacement project will be funded for Yuma County instead of the city of Somerton. Additionally, Yuma County must secure at least $200,000 in matching funds from other sources before the state will provide its share of the appropriation. This change is significant because it shifts the financial responsibility to the county and ensures that additional funding is raised from local contributions, which could foster community investment in the project.
