In the latest version of House Bill 2381, the maximum amount for wage claims has been increased from $5,000 to $12,000. This change is important because it allows employees with wage disputes to claim a larger sum, offering greater protection and recourse for those who may be owed money from their employers. Additionally, this amendment aims to enhance the enforcement of fair employment practices.
