The changes made to SB 95 involve adding more specific language relating to the child care assistance program and child care grant program, clarifying regulations around licensed day care facilities. Additionally, a previously existing section (AS 47.25.095(7)) that defined "day care facility" has been removed. These amendments aim to streamline the bill and improve its effectiveness in supporting child care services in Alaska, ensuring that the rules are clearer for those who provide and receive care.
