What changed in the latest version
30 added · 19 removedPlain-language change summary
In the updated version of SB 81, the bill was expanded to include contributions to the Teachers' Retirement System, in addition to the existing focus on the Public Employees' Retirement System. This change is significant because it ensures that employer contribution rates are adequately funded for both retirement systems, which helps support the financial stability of pensions for teachers and public employees in Alaska. Additionally, the effective date of the bill has been clarified, which indicates when the changes will take effect once approved.
