Plain-language change summary

The recent amendments to House Bill 2575 clarify the powers of homeowners' associations, particularly regarding litigation related to construction claims. The bill now specifies that associations may only pursue legal action concerning certain community areas, unless the individual homeowner assigns their claim to the association. This change aims to prevent associations from overstepping their authority and ensures that homeowners retain control over their claims, which could lead to fairer resolutions and better accountability within the community.
