Plain-language change summary

The changes made in SB 1673 clarify definitions related to jury service, specifically expanding the information collected for the "master jury list" to include jurors' dates of birth, and if available, their telephone numbers and email addresses. This update is significant because it enhances the ability to contact potential jurors, ensuring better participation in the jury process. However, another section that previously addressed driver’s license suspension for failure to appear in court has been removed from the bill. This suggests a shift in focus solely towards jury-related provisions without the driving privilege regulations.
