The proposed amendments to Bill HB 2028 change the term "hydraulic" to "hydrologic" in the context of groundwater modeling. This adjustment is important as "hydrology" more accurately describes the science of water movement and distribution, which is crucial in assessing groundwater levels. By ensuring the correct terminology is used, the bill aims to improve the evaluation process for applications related to assured water supply. This could lead to more effective groundwater management practices in Arizona.
