Plain-language change summary

In the latest version of Senate Bill 1307, the title referring to "postsecondary institutions; free expression; policies" has been removed, while additional language has been added to expand on the bill’s content. This change clarifies the focus of the bill and might signal a more targeted approach to issues of free expression in colleges and universities. It matters because clearer titles and definitions help lawmakers, institutions, and the public understand the intent and implications of the legislation better.
