Plain-language change summary

In the latest amendments to Bill HB 2737, the term "member" was changed to "members," which reflects that the provisions apply to multiple individuals rather than just one. Additionally, the word "allocate" was replaced with "distribute," emphasizing a different approach to how funds should be handled. Importantly, the amendments also clarify that eligible funds can be used for purchasing insurance under the Affordable Care Act, ensuring that more comprehensive health coverage options are available for educators. These changes are significant as they potentially widen access to essential health benefits for teachers.
