Plain-language change summary

The changes to Bill SB 1145 involve the addition of a title related to "student activity fees" and a "conscience exemption," while removing multiple repeated references of the bill itself and its sponsors. This matter highlights a focus on ensuring that students can opt out of certain fees based on personal beliefs, which is significant as it addresses concerns about financial obligations tied to activities that may not align with a student’s values.
