The recent changes to Senate Bill 1402 include the addition of a reference to children with disabilities, clarifying that the definitions relevant to the bill will align with existing laws concerning these children. This amendment is significant as it helps ensure that the educational standards and regulations related to child care specifically address the needs of children with disabilities, fostering a more inclusive environment in Arizona's education system. Additionally, there were some adjustments in terminology within the bill, like changing "admission" to "application," which may clarify the processes involved in education-related applications.
