The amendments to Bill HB 2303 include the addition of specific references to "messenger ribonucleic acid products" and "emergency use authorized products" in the section about vaccination records. This change clarifies the types of vaccinations that employers cannot require or request records for, making it clear that it primarily concerns certain COVID-19 vaccines. This matters because it helps protect employees from being compelled to disclose their vaccination status as a condition of employment, which could have implications for job security and personal privacy.
